  • WESTERN FIRE SUPPLIES HIGH VOLUME WATER PUMPS TO TRIDENT SEAFOODS ALASKAN BASED FISH PROCESSING PLANTS - After a recent fire, and in their efforts to better equip their Alaskan based fish processing plants, Trident Seafoods purchased 4 high volume towable water pumps to aid fire fighting efforts at the plants.   • AMERICAN SEAFOODS PURCHASES HIGH CAPACITY AIR COMPRESSORS - In light of the Pacific Glacier fire last February, American Seafoods Company is amongst many who upgraded their fleets to include new High Capacity Air Compressors for filling their SCBA Cylinders on board during a fire fighting emergency.
     
  • BROOKDALE RECALLS EVACU8 - Brookdale International Systems Inc. and DuPont recall the EVACU8 and EVAC+ emergency  escape smoke hoods currently in the marketplace worldwide. Recent tests confirmed that the use of these products in a smoke or fire emergency may expose the user to harmful carbon monoxide, which could seriously compromise their ability to escape a fire threat. Therefore, the products SHOULD NOT BE USED and should be returned to the recall center immediately. For more information visit www.evacsafety.com.

Along with PFI Marine Electric, WFS now has a small retail location at the PFI Marine Electric building in Dutch Harbor. We are carrying in stock portable fire extinguishers, brackets, cabinets, fire hoses, nozzles, brass fittings and couplings, common replacement parts, SCBA Units, Complete ABS Fireman's Suit Packages, Wheeled Fire Extinguishers, and more!
